Describe your hometown.

I live in Nanjing, a historical city near Yangtze River. It was the capital of six dynasties in history. My grandpa is from Shanghai which I think you may know much better because it’s a modern city. I like these two cities very much.

How does your family spend time together?

All the family members have harmonious relationships but Mum and Dad are busy, so we always make small talks at table when having dinner. In summer holidays, we go to travel no matter how busy we are because it’s a precious chance to get together.

What are the family guidelines of your household? What happens when the rules are broken?

My parents understand me well. They believe in my ability to make decision to do right or wrong and give me the right to do almost everything on my own. And of course, they make the crucial decision. If I do something wrong, they will talk to me seriously and usually I can realize my fault soon.

What are your household responsibilities at home?

I have to always behave well and get along well with all my family members. I should love them as they love me. I should help with the housework such as clean up the house and I try my best to relieve my family’s pressure. And then they will not worry about my future. I love my family and will support my family forever.

Describe any part-time jobs or work experience you may have had and/or any volunteer activities you have participated in.

1. I have worked before but I have organized an activity to let my classmates experience how to find a job.

2. This summer, I took part in a volunteer work to help the police get in charge of the transport.

3. I also organized a volunteer work in which more than 40 students joined this term. We went to Nanjing University to help them prepare for a reading week. We spent 2 weeks in the library to neaten the bookshelves.

Are you a member of any clubs? If yes, please specify.

Yes. I am a member of the photography club in our school. I also join the blind-helper voluntary club and school’s  body mechanics team.

Please list and explain three activities you would like to participate in while you are on exchange, if possible.

I really want to participate in a club about role play / drama for I am nearly crazy over drama and musical. Yuga/Aerobics club and voluntary works are also highly welcomed. ^^

What are you most proud of?

1.       I make my parents feel proud.

2.       All my schoolmates who know me trust me and give me high respect. They will go to me if they need help.

Describe your best friend. What qualities make him/her your friend?

I have a lot of friends actually…. My best one is Nina. We share happiness and sadness together. Though we have different characteristics and hobbies, we find each other the very person to talk to.

How do you deal with peer pressure?

I am kind to the others. They are kind to me as a response. That’s why I haven’t had any peer pressure till now.

今天上午去体检，因为疫苗（我已经说过了那个要求很BT）的期限问题还得补打。so...一共扎了五针，左胳膊两针，右胳膊三针，我差点被针扎成筛子|||到现在左手还疼，下午做实验的时候，我就成了指手画脚的了，谁叫人家没办法亲自动手呢。

也是无聊吧，当时体检的还有金中、13中、仙林分校的人，就在那儿瞎聊，说金中每年还是学期的，结束的时候都会有一个美食节，然后那个男生补充说明了一句：就跟马台街似的。众人倒。不过还是很羡慕啊，能在学校里看到“天上掉馅饼”“老王馄饨摊”之类的店也是很幸福的了。咱们怎么不去弄一个呢。记得中加班以义卖捐助失学儿童为名，一块Pizza20块钱起价，实在是黑店的说|||

没想到体检耗了将近一上午，竟然连B超都要做，我都无语了。以至于我们班男生说，还不如直接敲个蓝章然后就运到美国去算了……呃，如果这样更方便的话，我也可以考虑一下。。。。

回学校的时候已经是上午第四节课了，偏偏第五节课语文课轮我背书，我跟我同桌sunny说，早知道应该等着第五节课打铃，老师问该谁背书啦的时候，我就英勇地冲进教室，就好像特地为了背书才回来的一样|||

今年据说全江苏的AFS的美国名额只有3个，我们班就有一个，啊哈哈，替他自豪一下。虽然某人一开始跟我说他考砸了，还说什么听力都是蒙的口试一团糟之类的，看来还是谦虚啊。咱们班的人就是不一样，不愧是我带领出来滴，骄傲ing（被众踹飞~~）
